Our origins are lost in the halls of history, but a long time ago, thousand of hundreds of years there was a man and a woman who made everyone’s journey here possible.
We are the tip of the spear, and the spear is very long. If we look only 10 generations back, there are at least 500 people in our lineage that made our place in this room, on this land possible. They did their best, as much as we do our best.
“Ancestors of Origin” is a ritualistic event, honouring our ancestors journey on this planet, heir best intentions and participation in this cosmic dance and our own choices for the life we want to create for ourselves and our children.
This web of life is complex, at times elaborate and may be hard to understand, but the connectedness of everything, and everyone is what pushes things further and opens up new possibilities.
Ancestors are the key to the present. We are the future ancestors and they made our journey here possible. What is our contribution? How do we shape this material and spirit existence?
. We are stardust, and for thousands of years we came and went, took different shapes, tried different bodies, we are the past and future ancestors. Every single life, every step we took to be there, brought us all together, again and again.
Laura, Yoshie, and Ludi will guide you on a captivating musical odyssey, intertwining the melodies of Indian Ragas, traditional Romanian folk songs, Hungarian lullabies, alongside the contemporary compositions of Max Richter and the ceremonial whistling of the Peruvian Queros.
