Anatomy of a Purchase Contract 4 hrs CE (Core Elective)

This four-hour continuing education class is designed to provide attendees with a professional working knowledge of the NMAR Purchase Agreement and the forms most likely to be used with it. Students will focus on the most recent changes and most important clauses in the Purchase Agreement.

Together, we’ll talk about the important contingencies and disclosures in the Purchase Agreement and students will work together to determine a timeline template for the contingency and disclosure dates. Students will leave the class with additional resources to help track the deadlines in their transactions better. We might even have a fun contest or two!

In this class, you will learn how to:

    • Identify and select the current NMAR purchase agreement and related forms for your transactions to prepare a professional contract for your clients.
    • Explain and justify the current NMAR purchase agreement, by paragraph, to your clients and the reasons for its most significant recent changes.
    • About the most recent changes to the NMAR Purchase Agreement and the reasons behind them
