Analog Adventures #1: Film Photowalk with Wolfen NC500

For this photowalk, we'll meet in the parking lot of Sellwood Park, near the baseball fields, before proceeding down the path to the Wildlife Refuge. We'll walk along the water amongst the trees to the tadpole pond before heading over to Oaks Bottom Amusement Park to finish off the walk.

About Orwo Wolfen NC500 - This is a 400 ASA, 36 exposure, color photographic film, and is the first brand new color photographic film that Orwo has launched in decades, proudly still produced in Bitterfeld-Wolfen on the original site where film manufacture has been a tradition since 1910. At the core of this new color film lies a unique chemical formula based on the wonderful and legendary Agfa stock last used in the Oscar-winning film ‘Out of Africa’. Famous for their greens, desaturated shadows, and enhanced grains, these are all aspects that we are embracing for our new addition. WOLFEN NC500 is not trying to imitate current stocks available on the market but instead seeks to create an alternative, something with different characteristics and a different palette.

Some Things You Should Know:

• Experience level: Beginner & Up
• Requirements: BYOFC (35mm required for this film)! Each participant must supply their own film camera for this walk. There will be a limited number of loaner cameras available and will be loaned out on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Each participant will receive one free roll of Wolfen NC500 - ONLY AVAILABLE IN 35mm)
• Registration fees cover your roll of film, processing & high-resolution scans provided by Pro Photo Supply's Lab.
• Your film and scans should be ready within 2 business days after the photo walk!
• This walk is limited to 15 people.
• Suggest Items to Bring (other than your camera): water/snacks, comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate attire, and anything else needed for protection from the elements.

This photo walk is limited to 20 spots with a minimum of 5 registered attendees needed. In the event the minimum isn't met, the session will be canceled and registered attendees will receive full refunds.

This event has limited space, as a result, registration is required for each attendee. If you are on the waitlist for this event, you will receive a notification, via email, if a space becomes available for you.

PRICING, FEES & REFUNDS

In the event of a refund, Eventbrite Fees are not refundable. Eventbrite fees are only refunded if an event is canceled.
