Aperçu

This webinar introduces Artscaping, an established arts in nature programme that supports learning, mental health and wellbeing, in schools.

On World Mental Health Day, this webinar introduces Artscaping, an established arts in nature programme that supports learning, mental health and wellbeing.

Professor Nicola Walshe, Executive Director of the UCL Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Education, will share key learning from the recent research project, Branching Out, that investigated how elements of Artscaping could be scaled up to benefit more children.

Launching a toolkit, webinar and research companion document, Nicola will be joined by academic and delivery partners to share their experiences, followed by Q and A. This webinar will be relevant to colleagues working in education, forest school and nature settings, as well as the academic community.

The Branching Out research programme was funded by the UK Research and Innovation programme, Mobilising Community Assets to Tackle Health Inequalities. It was undertaken through partnership between UCL Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Education, Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination, Fullscope and Cambridge Acorn Project.
