This webinar will provide an introduction to Altmetric Explorer: a database that monitors, searches, and measures tweets, news stories, blog posts, patents, grants, and other sites that mention scholarly research done at GUMC and elsewhere.

• define alternative metrics
• search the Altmetric Explorer database
• save searches, create alerts and reports
• interpret, complement conventional metrics, and gauge impact based on the presented data
