About this event

Arts • Musical

Join the Yale Club of San Francisco for an intimate evening of music, conversation, and connection with the Yale Whiffenpoofs. The evening will begin with heavy hors d'oeuvres, wine or the drink of your choice, and informal networking with the Whiffenpoofs and other Yale alumni. This will be followed by a moderated conversation and the chance to learn what it is like to take a year away from Yale to tour the world. The evening will conclude with a memorable music performance in an intimate living room setting—offering a unique complement to the group’s grand public concert at Grace Cathedral earlier in the month.

This special event will be held at the home of Pulin Sanghvi '92 P'29 and Anu Sanghvi P'29 in Redwood City. The address will be provided to registered guests ahead of the event.

Since their founding in 1909, the Whiffenpoofs have brought their diverse repertoire of vocal jazz, folk, pop, and Broadway hits to more than two hundred audiences each year across all 6 inhabited continents. In past years, the ‘Whiffs’ have sung for Presidents Obama, Bush (41 and 43), Clinton, and Reagan, and at venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. They've even been featured on television shows such as “The Sing Off,” “The West Wing,” and “Glee.”
