Rachael Higgins - Founder & Company Director of Because of Marketing

Rachael Higgins is the Founder of Because of Marketing, a global marketing media brand founded in July 2020 from her bedroom. She is also a Marketing Consultant to smaller businesses. Rachael has over 7 years of marketing experience and 4 years building a business in the marketing industry.

Rachael’s skills lie within marketing consultancy, advising how to market your small business, creating campaigns, social media and email marketing.

Niki Hutchison is a Marketing Strategist who helps service-based business owners go from overlooked to fully booked®. Niki is on a mission to help as many entrepreneurial women as possible succeed in business, so that they can be self-reliant and financially free.

Niki studied advertising to PostGraduate level, then worked as a Brand Strategist within creative advertising agencies and firmly believes that a good grasp of marketing is often what stands between business success and failure.

Having left the world of ad agencies behind, Niki founded her first business in 2012, before setting up her marketing company in 2017. Having previously worked with large clients and corporates within the world of agencies, Niki wanted to make sure she fully understood small businesses and their unique needs, before advising them.

Marketing is often needlessly overcomplicated, so Niki simplifies things, making marketing straightforward and easy to understand.

Niki is a confident speaker with an engaging stage presence, ensuring that every audience member learns useful information and how to apply it within their role and/ or business, but also making sure they feel part of the experience. Niki does not simply deliver talks, she shares knowledge in creative, engaging ways and invites audience participation so that her sessions (and the information within them) will be remembered and acted upon.

Niki is a Digital Marketing Trainer for Google and is a Global Ambassador for Adobe Express. Niki has been booked (and rebooked) to deliver talks covering marketing and entrepreneurship, on stage and online, by organisations including Adobe, Enterprise Nation, The Marketing Society Scotland, Young Enterprise Scotland and The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland as well as universities and countless independent small business communities.

Niki is always keen to hear from individuals and organisations looking for marketing training or guest experts, whether online or in-person, for large corporate organisations or small business communities.
