About this event

If you enjoy having old friends for dinner, then this Evening with Dr. Hannibal Lecter class featuring recipes from Feeding Hannibal: The Connoisseur’s Cookbook is for you. Cookbook author and chef-instructor Craig Logan will lead you through a special, hands-on, three-course dinner utilizing Dr. Lecter’s private collection of recipes and ingredients.

You’ll learn how to bring the dark elegance of the NBC series Hannibal to your own table while showcasing culinary skills that turn unusual ingredients into gastronomic masterpieces. Chef Craig will also share personal insights, tips, and tricks for hosting your own Hannibal-themed dinner party.

This three-course meal will come alive with a crawling appetizer of “Mock Escargots A`la Bourguignonne,” featured in the first episodes of Season 3. The entrée of “Spinach-Stuffed Pork with Cumberland Sauce” will remind you of the exact dish that Dr. Lecter prepared for Jack Crawford when having him for dinner. Finally, you’ll prepare the signature and visually striking “Bite Mask Cherry Pies,” inspired by the iconic mask that prevented Dr. Lecter from eating the rude.

We hope that this Evening with Dr. Lecter will encourage you to share in his deep appreciation for food and his desire not merely to please guests, but to wow them. After all, these recipes are to die for.
