David Newton Baker spent his first career writing and producing music for film and television, airing on ABC, PBS Kids, TLC and The Disney Channel. He also produced two studio albums as a singer-songwriter and played his music for many years in southwestern Colorado before embarking on a writing career in essay and poetry. He lives in Monteagle, TN and often reads his work at Sewanee Spoken Word.
