Darin and Brooke Aldridge, the highly acclaimed Bluegrass and Americana duo, are back with their latest album, ‘Talk of the Town.’ The husband-and-wife team continues to ascend to new heights at the top of bluegrass music while keeping their easy-going, down-to-earth connection with audiences everywhere. Brooke, a four-time International Bluegrass Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year winner, and Darin, a former member of The Country Gentlemen, have received numerous nominations from IBMA, the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America, the Gospel Music Association, and Inspirational Country Music Association. They were named "Bluegrass Artists of the Year" at the 2023 Absolutely Gospel Music Awards. Their smash hit "Jordan" featuring Ricky Skaggs, Mo Pitney and Mark Fain earned IBMA and GMA Song of the Year nominations in 2023.

The North Carolina natives have topped various music charts and appeared on TV networks such as Country Music Television, Great American Country, and PBS, and have graced the stage of the Grand Ole Opry more than 50 times. Their 2021 gospel hit, "He's Getting Me Ready" featuring Country Music Hall of Fame members The Oak Ridge Boys, spent a record-setting five months atop The Singing News gospel chart.

Darin and Brooke Aldridge, the highly acclaimed Bluegrass and Americana duo, are back with their latest album, 'Talk of the Town,’ their tenth recorded project together and 2nd release on Billy Blue Records, celebrating the space the husband-and-wife team now occupies – the top of bluegrass music.

Darin and Brooke continue to ascend to new heights in the music industry while keeping their easy-going, down-to-earth connection with audiences everywhere. Brooke is a four-time winner of the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award for Female Vocalist of the Year, while Darin, once a member of The Country Gentlemen, is a former IBMA Mentor of the Year and a truly gifted singer and multi-instrumentalist. They have had numerous nominations over the years from the IBMA, the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA), the Gospel Music Association (GMA Dove Awards) and the Inspirational Country Music Association. In April 2023, they were named “Bluegrass Artists of the Year” at the Absolutely Gospel Music Awards. Also in 2023, the IBMA nominated the smash hit “Jordan,” featuring Ricky Skaggs, Mo Pitney and Mark Fain, in the Gospel Recording of the Year category while the GMA nominated the song for its Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year award.

The North Carolina natives have enjoyed top spots on the Billboard, SiriusXM, Bluegrass Today, Bluegrass Unlimited, Americana/Roots, and Gospel charts. Their music videos have been featured on Country Music Television (CMT), CMT Edge, Great American Country (GAC), Bluegrass Ridge TV, and The Bluegrass Situation. Their television appearances include PBS’ Mountain Stage, Songs of the Mountain and Music City Roots; RFD-TV’s Larry’s Country Diner, Country’s Family Reunion and The Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour; Great American Gospel; The Bluegrass Road and Blue Highways TV. They have graced the stage of the Grand Ole Opry more than 50 times.

A career highlight from the 2021 release This Life We’re Livin’ was “He’s Getting Me Ready,” a gospel rouser featuring Country Music Hall of Fame members The Oak Ridge Boys. It spent an incredible record-setting five months atop The Singing News gospel chart.

In following the path of their dreams, Brooke once noted, “We want our music to lift people up.” “It was an early goal of ours to put a positive message out there,” adds Darin, “and we decided a long, long time ago that we were going to be us, no matter what.”
