The Scared Bundle Project is part of the American Indian Health and Family Services. They work diligently to enhance the physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental wellbeing of American Indian/Alaska Native individuals, families and other underserved populations in Southeast Michigan through culturally grounded health and family services.

At this exciting event, E2EH is collaborating with The Sacred Bundle Project to provide a free presentation for the entire community to learn the history, culture, community resources, current needs, and much more concerning American Indians in Michigan from two exceptional speakers.

Panelist Information

Adon Vazquez- Adon has been a part of the Sacred Bundle Project at American Indian Health and Family Sservices since 2019. The project cares for all underserved youth across the State of Michigan to help ensure mental health screening, prevention training, and community resources are accessible to all. He is also a certified SafeTALK Trainer and has presented this gatekeeper training across the State of Michigan. He is currently a student at Wayne State University.

Taylor Maxwell- Taylor has been a part of the Sacred Bundle Project at AIHFS since 2020. The project cares for all underserved youth across the State of Michigan to help ensure mental health screening, prevention training, and community resources are accessible to all. She is also a certified SafeTALK Trainer and has presented this gatekeeper training across the Midwest. She received a Bachelor's of Anthropology from the University of Alabama.
