In this special reading event, illustrator Susan Keeter will join the SHM team in leading a read-along of her book, An Apple for Harriet Tubman. After exploring the relationships between Harriet Tubman, Margaret Stewart, Frances Seward, and Fanny Seward, Ms. Keeter will lead a collaborative mural art project wn which all attendees can participate! Women of all different ages can create meaningful change, as this story proves.


This event is geared towards upper elementary school kids interested in art and history!
