About this event

  • 3 hours

The Solebury Township Historical Society presents an afternoon at the Samuel Armitage Old Mansion, Saturday June 22nd at 3 pm. Our hosts, homeowners Kate Surmay and Paul Kenny, have graciously offered an exclusive STHS members-only opportunity to visit this significant historical property. Samuel Armitage is credited with constructing the first mill along the Cuttalossa Valley. The mansion house dates to the 1750’s and the classic three bay English-style barn dates to 1786. The barn underwent a major historical renovation in 2022. Guests will be provided tours of the barn and property, including perennial gardens and native wildflower meadow, along with live music, appetizers, and drinks. This event will be limited to fifty STHS members. Tickets are $125, reserve yours today.
