Just come out to Freeman park noon on Saturdays. A park officer will help you. You can't miss up, we're the group poking each other with padded weapons LoL
Amtgard is FREE to play. You can use loaner weapons until you can make your own, costuming can be made with minimal skills or you can get a creative as you like
No problem! There are tons of activities fore non combat players. We even have subgroups like gardening and bards.
Of course! We have accomodations for people with limitations to help us participate on the field. Our park has fantastic and quests that open participation up to everyone. Feel free to discuss your needs with a park officer. One of us will be more than happy to help with solutions. :)
The game is medieval/fantasy, think Dungeons and Dragons... So you can create costumes that are historically plausible or completely fantasy and any range between. You can base what you wear on a culture or region if you like.
