<h1>Funkytown. Cowtown. Panther City.</h1><p>Whatever you call Fort Worth, you won&#x27;t want to miss this concert on 8/17.  We&#x27;re ready to show some big love to the 817 with free admission to an amazing showcase of four dynamic Fort Worth musicians/bands. All compliments of your Fort Worth Public Library. </p><h3>Doors open at 6 p.m. Showcase starts at 7 p.m.<strong> </strong></h3><p><strong>Beginning at 6 p.m., guests can:</strong></p><ul><li>Get some merch! Printed Threads will be onsite printing exclusive t-shirts for sale benefitting the Fort Worth Public Library Foundation*</li><li>Explore unique art work from Fort Worth artists presented by Art Tooth</li><li>Grab some concessions</li></ul><p></p><h3>Plan your evening:</h3><ul><li>Free, general admission seating is first-come-first-served</li><li>Parking at Will Rogers Auditorium is $15 per car, and is paid to their parking attendants</li><li>If you dine in Sundance Square or along West 7th, ride an Amplify817 DASH bus for $3; drop off and pick up at the Lancaster/Van Cliburn stop. </li><li>Concessions and vendors will take cash or card</li><li>Photography is permitted during performances</li><li>No extended video recordings permitted</li><li>Use these tags to show your support #Love817 #Amplify 817</li></ul><h3>Performances by:</h3><p><strong>GR4NT.</strong> We&#x27;ll kick off the evening with a high-energy set from GR4NT, a dynamic artist whose style blends seamlessly between soulful R&amp;B, Rap, and Pop music. GR4NT performed for Amplify 817 New Year&#x27;s Eve virtual concert in 2020 and has also been featured on Off the Record, a YouTube interview series hosted by the Fort Worth Public Library.  Recently opening for Averi Burk at Tulips FTW, his music has continued to evolve since joining Amplify 817 platform in 2020.</p><p><strong>Bencjones. O</strong>riginal Indie alt-rock solo artist and multi-instrumentalist Bencjones makes highly melodic, groove-drenched music that reaches new fans every single day. Ben performs regularly in Fort Worth and across North Texas and can be heard regularly on 91.7 KXT.  </p><p><strong>Averi Burk.</strong> Following a headlining concert at Tulips FTW in May for the Amplify 817 series, Averi Burk added original shows for Fort Worth and Dallas Pride festivals continuing her rockin&#x27; momentum.  Averi was a featured artist this year at the Visit Fort Worth annual breakfast performing an original musical collaboration with Cliburn pianist Daniel Hsu and local rap and hip/hop performer Lou CharLe$.  As a featured artist at Fort Worth&#x27;s SXSW main stage this year, Averi is quickly becoming a memorable voice of Fort Worth. </p><p><strong>Cut Throat Finches.</strong> Cut Throat Finches: An ironic name for a tiny bird with a giant Texas sound.  Once you&#x27;ve heard Cut Throat Finches, you&#x27;ve heard Texas rock.  A staple on the Amplify 817 platform since 2020, the band is known as ambassadors for Fort Worth. Juan Salinas from Central Trak may have said it best when he said, &quot;Cut Throat Finches is like if a British rock band decided to make music in the Cowtown of Fort Worth.&quot;</p>

<p>By registering and attending this event, I agree that my heirs and assigns, do hereby FOREVER RELEASE AND WAIVE all claims against the City of Fort Worth, its officers, agents and employees, for injuries, death or property damage which may arise from my use of the City of Fort Worth Public Events Department Facility (hereinafter, “Facility” or “Facilities”). I, my heirs and assigns, hereby assume all responsibility and liability for such injuries or damages, including death, and hereby covenant not to make claim or sue the City of Fort Worth, its officers, servants, agents and employees for such injuries or damages. I have read this Waiver and Release and fully understand its terms, provisions and conditions. I have not been influenced to any extent whatsoever by any representations or statements not contained within this agreement.</p>
