Amiracle Kids Interior Design Program

Our new kids interior design program will involve various projects throughout the spring, including dream room vision boards, learning how to do consultations of their own bedroom, drafting and creating floor plans, color scheme and furniture selecting, designing a website, and DIY crafting home decor projects such as creating pillows, wall art and more. Each week we will be learning something new related to interior design.

You can select a full session or a weekly drop-in option.

Each class will be held on Wednesdays after school from 6:00pm-8:00pm. The schedule is as follows:

Session 1: Intro to Interior Design (Full Package Price- $120)(Ages 7-13)

Participants must be registered for Session 1, to receive a Kid Konsultation Kit. The kits will include the necessary tools and materials to allow each child to perform their own in-home consultation of their bedrooms.

Week 1 (March 2, 2022): Fantasy Room Vision Boards (Drop-In Fee $25)

What would your room look like if you had no limits? Kids will learn to create vision boards to display the room of their dreams. We will learn about organizing our ideas, furniture selections and color schemes.

Week 2 (March 9, 2022): Kid Consultations (Drop-In Fee $25)

In this workshop, students will learn what it takes to perform a consultation of a full space. They will learn to measure and draft a floor plan. Create a project budget and submit a concept design of their bedrooms.

Please note: The consultation kits are only available to participants who are registered for the full package of Session 1.

Week 3 (March 16, 2022): 3D Floor Plans - Final Project Submission (Drop-In Fee $25)

Session 2: Home Decor Arts and Crafting (Full Package Price- $100)

Week 4 (March 23, 2022): Pillow Design & Crafting (Drop-In Fee $35):

Design and create pillows using arts and crafts such as ink stamps, stencils and acrylic paint, pom poms, glitter and more.

Week 5 (March 30, 2022): DIY Neon Light Sign Decor Project (Drop-In Fee $35):

Children will create their own personal neon light wall art using canvases and EL light tubes.

Week 6 (April 6, 2022): DIY Wall Art (Drop-In Fee $35):

In this workshop, children will be creating artwork on cardstock paper and placing their designs in colorful acrylic wall mounted picture frames.

Week 7 (April 13, 2022): Kid's Pop-up Shop ($10)- Each participant will be able to showcase, promote and sell their art pieces.

Session 3: Virtual Drafting and Product Design (Ages 8-15) (Course Size-5 Students)

Week 8 (April 20, 2022): Virtual Vision Boards and Consultations:

In this workshop, students will learn to create moodboards and 3D renderings using virtual software so that they can easily visualize their space and fall in love with the look they’ve created. We will also discuss the basics of starting an interior design business and how to turn it into a career after graduating from school.

Week 9 (April 27, 2022): Website Design

In this workshop, students will learn the basics of setting up their design businesses online.

Week 10 (May 4, 2022): Virtual Product Designing

Students will learn to use computer design software to create products such as pillows, mugs, wall art and more. Students will also learn how to upload products to sell on their websites (or other sites such as Etsy, Spoonflower and Society6). Parents will be given a price list of each product if they would like to purchase their children’s designs.
