Class Description:

This course has been updated to include the latest 2020 ECC Guidelines and provides instructor candidates with the skills and knowledge to teach the American Red Cross basic-level First Aid, CPR and AED courses. The instructor certification is valid for 2 years. The instructor certification fee is $375.00.

Prerequisites:

Be at least 18 years of age.

Have current basic-level American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED certificate or equivalent.

Complete an online orientation to the American Red Cross.

Complete the online First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Precourse accessible through the ARC learning center.
