Learn how to make a scrumptious summer berry pie (strawberry + blueberry) topped with festive star cutouts... just in time for 4th of July! * * * we will make the pie from scratch in class, but you will take it home to freeze or bake, so plan to head home after class! * * *
In this class you'll:
- learn the secrets of making flaky all-butter pie pastry from scratch and by hand!
- roll out dough, crimp pie edges, and cut out shaped dough for a top crust
- work with lots of fresh fruit to build a flavorful, delicious summer pie
- have fun with other awesome students learning & baking together
- learn pro tips you can apply to a variety of similar recipes
- take home a ready-to-bake pie (you can bake it right when you get home or save in the freezer for later!) as well as the recipes for everything you made in class
- enjoy a guided tasting of berry pie while you learn the 5 steps to tasting like a pro!

ABOUT MUDDY'S HANDS-ON BAKING CLASSES
Muddy's hands-on baking classes are in-depth AND fun! Class sizes are small so students have ample opportunity for guidance & questions. Your instructor will demonstrate every step of the recipe and be available as you try each step yourself. You will have your own work table and will complete the entire recipe... and of course, you'll leave with your goodies!
Who should participate? Anyone age 15+ who is looking to learn, wants to have fun, or just enjoys baking in company.
Are classes wheelchair accessible? Our tables are height-adjustable, so if you need special accommodations, just let us know ahead of time and we'll be sure to have the table and your spot all ready for you!
What about cancellations? Classes are small and space is limited, so all ticket sales are final. Please check the date/time carefully before booking. If you cannot make it to your class, you may gift your ticket to a friend. If Muddy's must cancel the event for any reason, we will inform you asap and fully refund your ticket.
