Workshop Description

The law that covers most employees is the Employment Act, 1955. This is a "must know" piece of legislation firstly for human resource professionals and secondly for all HR Managers and Executives managing employees in all industries. This is a very detailed program starting from the issuance of the employment contract to the termination of the employment. It covers all the obligations and limitations of both employers and employees, especially the management and supervisory levels that directly supervise their subordinates during the period of employment and the human and legal approach in the application of the Work Act 1955 and other related Acts.

The program is specially designed with an understanding of the current provisions of the Employment Act 1955, and to update participants on the amendments and new provisions contained in the Employment (Amendment) Act 2022 so that appropriate planning and adjustments can be made for compliance. new provisions or amendments as well as statutory requirements such as PCB, EPF, SOCSO and EIS.
