Bring your own project(s) you'd like to mend. We'll provide needles, thread, and fabric scraps for you to use, or you can bring your own. Sliding scale of $10-20.

MENDING: You'll learn the basics of hand sewing, embroidery, darning, patching & some artful techniques to develop your own unique mending style. This is primarily a hand-sewing event/class. Check our website for other sewing-related classes/events.
Light refreshments are available and live ambient music sets a tone for a relaxing evening, mending in community.

If you'd like to volunteer to be a "sewing helper" at this event, please email thesarahmark@gmail.com and you can get a reduced admission fee. Neighborhood Art School is a place where we all learn from one another and believe everyone has something to teach and to learn.
