Description

We are happy to announce our first talk of the year - Storyfinding Techniques by Warren Etheredge!

Whether you are throwing a creative idea at a team meeting, launching a product or building a brand, it's worthless unless you know how to sell It.

Our speaker will share the building blocks of his Storyfinding technique — a process he has honed over 25 years writing for television, theater and film and working with CEOs, CIOs, consultants, screenwriters, documentarians, combat vets, convicts and lawyers. You’ll learn how to develop a Nugget, Conflict and a seven-sentence fairy tale, all rooted in your emotional experience of the world, in order to win clients, win over colleagues, earn green-lights for projects and the respect of your peers. Most importantly, you’ll understand your story so well, that its power will be evident whether you share it as a novel, a screenplay, an elevator pitch, a press release or a full-fledged business plan.

Warren Etheredge is a Storyfinder™. He has conducted over 3,000 interviews. He is the Chief Storytelling Officer for Enthrall Sports. He is also one of the founding faculty of TheFilmSchool, helping filmmakers translate their stories for screens big and small, and The Red Badge Project, helping combat veterans work through PTSD and other issues by teaching them the art of storytelling.

Talk is sponsored by Amazon Design Leadership
