About this event

In this workshop, participants will learn how to create both 2D and 3d artworks using old books and other mixed media with recycled objects, such as impressive paper sculptures and collaged keepsake tins. This workshop is great for beginners and artists looking for a new medium to experiment with. Each students will go home with unique, one-of-a-kind Altered Book Art and the ability to view discarded books in a new and exciting way!

Have some old books collecting dust but you can’t bear to part ways? Participants are welcome to bring their own books to use in this workshop if they want to incorporate additional sentimental value. All materials will be provided (including books), but they will be a random selection of mass-market paperbacks and hardback books pulled from our donations.

This workshop is appropriate for ages 18+ only.
