WHERE is the ALPHA festival and what's it like there?

Set in a lush, 200-acre private resort & campground in Maryland, Camp Ramblewood has all the rolling hills, woods, courts, cabins, meeting rooms, fire pits, and hiking trails you could ever want, plus a barn, pavilion, dance hall, pond, haunted mansion, a private island, and more.

What does "participatory" mean?

It means all attendees are expected to bring a project to ALPHA (art, demonstration, performance, talk, workshop, etc). You DO NOT have to register your project at the time of your ticket purchase, but we encourage you to do so as early as possible. Registration: http://bit.ly/4g81Nx5

I'd like to bring my art to ALPHA, but it's very large, or it costs a lot to do so. Can I get help?

YES! Please email alpha@figmentproject.org to learn more about qualifying and applying for a community art grant, or to reserve space on the EVENT TRUCK. Let us help you bring your art to ALPHA!

Question 4

My art has special needs (indoors, seating, power, etc). What can I plan for?

Accepted Answer

ALPHA can accommodate lots of different kinds of projects and set-ups, including those requiring power/AC, water, private meeting rooms, chairs, tables, covered indoor/outdoor areas, full private cabins, etc. Email your questions /requests to (subject line) PLACEMENT to alpha@figmentproject.org.
