Allotment food growing
Tue, April 11, 2017, 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM BST
Green for Go! is for you if you live in Leeds, are aged over 19, unemployed and claiming benefits. It offers a chance to get active, learn new skills and meet people, in a friendly and safe environment.
Don’t worry if you’ve never picked up a spade before and you simply want to get out and meet new people in a friendly and safe environment - our welcoming and experienced staff will teach you everything you need to know.
You may find yourself getting involved in activities such as caring for allotments, growing food, or making planters. You can also suggest and work on your own projects, and you can work at your own pace throughout.
We aim to make the sessions as inclusive as possible and welcome individuals with a range of needs. Our staff will assess any needs you may have and provide support and guidance to make your experience safe, meaningful and fun.
The project runs every Tuesday 10:30-3:00 at:
Lady Pit Lane Allotments, Beeston Hill, LS11 6ES
You can you join anytime and it’s completely free!
