About this event

Join us for a workshop premised upon the Racial Equity Toolkit: A Reflection and Resource Guide for Collective Impact Backbone Staff and Partners developed by Dominique Samari, JD and Paul Schmitz and other resources fostering reflection, connection, and growth facilitated by Dr. Venoncia M. Baté-Ambrus, Executive Director of the Healthcare Foundation of Northern Lake County

The purpose of this workshop is to provide the Alliance with tools to begin to think about ways to:

1. Ground the work in data and context, and target solutions.

2. Focus on systems change, in addition to programs and services.

3. Shift power within the collective.

4. Listen to and act with community.

5. Build equity leadership and accountability.

We welcome you in the fullness of your humanity, with your:

 intersectional identities,

 lived experiences, traumatic, triumphant, and everything in between,

 collective histories, present realities, and future aspirations,

 intellectual curiosity, and wonder, and

 desire to heal, transform, and be accountable.

We look forward to your active participation on June 16 th !
