Allheilmittel Systems Engineering: Warum investiert die Automobilindustrie Millionen in dieses Thema?

Produkte der Automobilbranche werden immer komplexer: rein mechanische Produkte werden durch smarte, vernetzte Mechatronikprodukte ersetzt, in denen der Elektronik- und Softwareanteil Jahr für Jahr ansteigt und bereits den Großteil der Produktinnovationen ausmacht. Anstelle eines Fahrzeugscheinwerfers bestehend aus Glühbirne und Kunststoffgehäuse, ist nun eine intelligente LED-Matrix mit integrierter Kamera zur Befähigung von Funktionen des autonomen Fahrens zu finden. Um diese Entwicklung zu fördern, investieren Unternehmen der Automobilbranche in die Transformation ihrer Produktentwicklung. Gemeinsam mit den Experten Friedrich Bauer (ZKW), Jürgen Zorn (ZKW), Thomas Haim (3DSE) und Sebastian Kausel (3DSE) sprechen wir darüber, wie die Einführung von Systems Engineering diese Transformation möglich macht.
