The Natural Areas Conservancy (NAC) will host a guided walk on the Yellow Trail at Alley Pond Park to explore the trail and natural area. Attendees will learn about sustainable trail building, past, present and planned trail work on the Yellow Trail, as well as forest restorationa and ecology as it relates to the area the trail travels through.

All ages are welcome. Attendees under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Location: In front of the Alley Pond Enviornmental Center- 229-10 Northern Boulevard, Douglaston, NY 11362

Time: 10am - 1pm (will likely finish the walk around 12:30pm)

What should you bring:

A water bottle

Weather appropriate clothing

Sturdy, closed toe shoes
