Allen Watkins is a three-time Alabama State Champion for finger-style guitar, and is also accomplished on banjo, mandolin and bass. He is a nationally acclaimed touring and recording artist, with bands such as Claire Lynch and Lonesome River Band. His banjo stylings contributed to the landmark recording “The Front Porch String Band”, and he has recorded with bluegrass greats Mark Johnson and Tony Rice. His studio session work has been in Muscle Shoals, AL. Connie Nicholas Watkins is a singer-songwriter, who plays rhythm guitar and rhythm mandolin. She created the album“Dakotah Landing”, titled in honor of her home in North Dakota.
