All-Day Hackathon for DWeb Camp

The Internet Archive is a non-profit digital library in the heart of the Richmond District in San Francisco, CA.  We convene the Decentralized Web Summit (https://decentralizedweb.net/) and other events dedicated to creating the Web we want (and the Web we deserve.)

<P>With just one month to go before <A HREF="https://dwebcamp.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">DWeb Camp</A>, it's time to come together and test out your ideas and projects! Join us <STRONG>Wednesday, June 26 from 10 AM to 9 PM</STRONG> for an <STRONG>All-Day DWeb Hackathon</STRONG>. <EM>You don't have to be coming to camp to get hands-on experience working with decentralized technologies! </EM><SPAN>Nothing beats meeting in person to dream up ambitious ideas, share knowledge and build our collective visions. </SPAN> </P>
<P>At DWeb Camp, we'll be building a local mesh network--so come tinker with us, try out your application on the mesh, and bring your own Camp project or ideas to bat around with others.</P>
<H2><STRONG>Rough Schedule:</STRONG></H2>
<P>10 AM-Noon  Hack in the Great Room</P>
<P>Noon-1PM   Go get lunch on Clement Street</P>
<P>1-6 PM  Hack some more</P>
<P>6-7 PM  Pizza, beer and networking (the food is on us!)</P>

<H2>More about Mesh Networks at DWeb Camp:</H2>
<P>In the Internet Archive's Great Room, we've set up a  wireless mesh network  that will be installed at the DWeb Camp and extended by the community during Build Days (July 15-18). The network draws from community network principles of open and "free" infrastructures. Borrowing from open documentation and technologies by many communities, we have prototyped a distributed local network so campers can learn, build, extend, and tinker.
