All About Bees: Honey Tasting & Hive Tour with Ryan Sanders [ALL AGES]

Learn about the amazing biology and behavior of honey bees, how honey is made, and the importance of all bees and other pollinators in the production of food. This class can is geared towards anyone interested in the amazing world of honey bees! Weather permitting, a hive-opening tour of our apiary is included. Participants are welcome to pack a picnic to enjoy on the land before or after class

Hey there, I’m Ryan Sanders hobbyist beekeeper for about 6 years now. I currently manage about 10 hives on my property in Knoxville MD. I help my brother with his hives in Kearneysville WV, and now have the privilege to stand up some hives at Fox Haven Farm.Some of my hobbies are fixing cars/motorcycles, hanging with my pets, camping, biking, anything outdoors way too much to list…
