The mission of Georgetown Heritage is to restore and revitalize the national parks in Georgetown, beginning with the first mile of the historic C&O Canal that runs through Georgetown.

The Georgetown Heritage Board invites you to join us for a festive kickoff to our 2023 C&O Canal season!

C&O Canal Lock 3

We invite you to join us on May 4, 2023 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm, as we celebrate and toast to our future. This is your chance to celebrate both onboard The Heritage and under a tent in the historic Mule Yard, while enjoying a catered reception and open bar. Come mix and mingle with Georgetown residents, and city and federal dignitaries. It will be a festive kickoff to our 2023 C&amp;O Canal programming.

If you are interested in joining the Host Committee, sponsoring this event, or supporting the work of Georgetown Heritage throughout the year by becoming a sponsor, please contact Brooke Heiche at bheiche@georgetownheritage.org or call 703-475-8813.Join the Host Committee or sponsor by March 10 to ensure inclusion on event invitations and by April 17 to ensure inclusion on event signage. Please make sure to include your contact information as well as specifying the number of tickets and at what level.**This event is contingent on COVID protocols.
