Alien Aquatic

Plastic waste is having an irreversible, devastating effect on the planet especially in the sea.

Dudendance imagine a new Alien Species emerge when plastics mutate into living beings with stunning shape shifting costumes designed by Heather MacCrimmon. This new outdoor performance combines organic forms with artificial materials –costumes that suggest sea creatures transform into trash.

Featuring an international cast of performers from Germany , Chorisma Chamber Choir (Neuruppin), composer Fabiana Galante (Argentina) and musican Fiona Soe Paing (Turrif) with local singing trio Tripple - the performance will be immersed in a specially composed sound-scape performed live on the Tarlair Pavillion roof terrace.

As this is an outdoor performance, please come prepared for all weather. Meeting point at Tarlair car park where the performance will start. The performance will start at the beach next to car park and then promenade to the roof terrace of the Pavillion where the choir will sing. We can provide chairs under the Pavillion for those with mobility issues but be aware of the short walk from car park/beach to the pavillion which is paved annd ramped.

This performance is not suitable for very young children. Recommended for those +10yrs.
