About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Fahme earned her AAS-Graphic Design from Platt College San Diego in 2016. She is a self taught painter, her works receiving First Place prizes in several galleries and local fairs. Her ambition led her straight into the field supporting local-small business owners and nonprofit organizations. Her artworks are strongly influenced by the healing process and expressing different aspects of the human condition, coupled with the divine right to be connected to nature and god. Additionally, Alicia has spent her time traveling, connecting with other activists and hosting events influenced by both immigration and the human rights movement in Virginia and the big island of Hawaii. Her works have been showcased in museums and galleries throughout the USA, including Dragonfly Art Gallery and Museum of Art and History (MOAHs).

Alicia's paintings walk you through her life experiences as she sees them. Art is her therapy and way of moving energy through her body and onto a canvas for honor or understanding. Fahme's artworks speak to reverse societies condition that you must feel less to get more done, and reintroduce that emotions shape the world. Her artworks are here to remind us of the beauty that lives within.

We invite you to become curiouse and enter into the mind and world of Alicia L. Fahme.
