Algorithm for Change: Final Pitch-Off

The NYU Social Entrepreneurship Program is designed to attract, encourage and train a new generation of social entrepreneurial gamechangers. Each year, the program works to expose changemakers throughout New York University to the cross-disciplinary skills, experiences and networking opportunities needed to advance and support their efforts to realize sustainable and scalable pattern-breaking solutions to society's most intractable problems.

Join us for the culmination of <A HREF="https://www.nyu.edu/social-entrepreneurship/algorithm-for-change" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Algorithm for Change" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Algorithm for Change: The $1.5M AI/ML &amp; xR Access to Education Competition</A>! We invite you to watch live as the AI/ML track finalists pitch their ideas, prototypes, and companies to a panel of judges for over $1 million in cash prizes.
Algorithm for Change (AFC) is a $1.5 million competition designed to encourage innovative thinking and application of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and augmented reality (xR) to address enduring challenges in U.S. post-secondary education for students at risk of not enrolling and/ or graduating, with a particular focus on low income, underrepresented minority and first generation (LIMFG) students. The competition seeks innovative solutions that can serve as models of best practice and taken to scale based on demonstrated success. 
 
Doors open at 12:30; event will begin at 1:00pm. Reception to immediately follow pitches around 5:30pm. Attendees are welcome to attend some or all of this event.
