We look forward to seeing you! Each 30-minute tour is limited to a maximum of 20 participants with no more than four participants per family or registering party.
All tours will originate and end at the east side of Alcona Hydro on Bamfield Rd. in Glennie, Michigan. Participants must check-in no later than 30 minutes before their registered tour time. A bus will transport all participants to Alcona Hydro and return about 30 minutes after departure.
Due to the facility still being operational with restricted access under Department of Homeland Security provisions, there are no walk-in opportunities available. Any one failing to adhere to the specified conditions will not be permitted to participate in the tour.
REMINDER: As a registrant for a 30-minute tour you must be willing to adhere to the following conditions:
- Willingness to provide state-issued photo identification
- Willingness to wear provided safety equipment during the tour
- Wearing of closed-toe shoes
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by one adult per child
- Must have an ability to climb stairways (unfortunately there are no accommodations for wheelchairs, walkers, or other physical assisted equipment)
- Video and photography are prohibited
