This event is a collaboration between Australian independent fashion label ALPHA60 andMonash University’s Department of Materials Science and Engineeringas part of Melbourne Fashion Week 2018

Alpha60/Monash Materials Science & Engineering

You’re invited to join us to create your very own FREE limited edition and completely unique jewellery piece, designed by Alpha60 and 3D printed by Monash University’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering. As part of Melbourne Fashion Week’s Opening Night, Alpha60’s exquisite store at Chapter House will play host to ALCHEMY, an evening that explores the fascinating possibilities of 3D printing and additive manufacturing techniques. You’ll get the chance to shape a specially commissioned piece of jewellery using our custom-designed software, and the 3D printers will be on hand to turn your concept into reality. Pieces are free, but are limited in number. The exhibition continues throughout the week, so stop by and explore the alchemy of fashion, and the science that makes it happen - materials engineering.
