After a string of hugely successful sell-out nights, Alcester Comedy Night returns this June with another fantastic evening of live stand-up comedy featuring two outstanding professional acts and your favourite resident MC.

Whether you’re a regular comedy night veteran or joining us for the first time, expect a brilliant atmosphere, big laughs, and a top-quality line-up at one of Warwickshire’s favourite comedy nights.

🎙️ Headliner – Karen Bayley

Karen Bayley brings a delightfully saucy, friendly and confident stage presence to every room she performs in. Add her razor-sharp wit, infectious giggle and devastating one-liners, and it’s easy to see why she’s become such a huge force on the UK comedy circuit.

A seasoned professional with over a decade of experience, Karen regularly performs at the very best comedy clubs across the UK and beyond. Early in her career she reached the finals of the prestigious BBC New Comedy Awards, won the Komedia New Act Prize, and became the very first winner of the famous Comedy Store “King Gong” competition.

Most recently, Karen has been touring the UK supporting Joe Lycett, cementing her reputation as one of the country’s top live acts.

🍁 Special Guest – Tony Law

One of the most original and surreal comedians working today, Canadian comic Tony Law has become a cult favourite on the UK comedy scene thanks to his wildly inventive storytelling, absurd humour and brilliantly unpredictable performances.

A multi-award-winning comedian and Edinburgh Fringe favourite, Tony is known for taking audiences on hilariously chaotic journeys that somehow make absolutely no sense… and complete sense at the same time. His TV appearances include Have I Got News For You, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Russell Howard’s Good News.

Described by critics as “the king of post-modern nonsense” and praised for taking stand-up “to a dangerously funny new level”, Tony is guaranteed to deliver something unforgettable.
