2024 Texico Convocation Speaker Bios: Corrales, NM English – John Bradshaw, President of It Is Written Pastor John Bradshaw is the president of It Is Written. A former radio broadcaster, he became a Christian as a young adult, and served as an evangelist and church pastor before joining It Is Written in January of 2011. He has held more than 100 evangelistic series, sharing God’s word on six continents. John has filmed It Is Written programs in almost 30 countries, which along with his daily devotional, Every Word and other It Is Written programs are viewed around the world. John is married to Melissa, and they have two children. They live near Chattanooga, Tennessee. Spanish – Robert Costa, Speaker-Director of the Spanish telecast of “It Is Written” El Pastor Robert E. Costa ha servido como pastor, director departamental y administrador desde 1980 en América del Sur y América del Norte. Nativo de Uruguay, realizó sus estudios superiores en Argentina y Estados Unidos. Es el Orador-Director del programa televisivo en español de It Is Written, que se transmite vía satélite, cable y canales locales en más de 11,000 estaciones, alcanzando 138 países. Robert está apasionado por compartir las buenas nuevas de la Palabra de Dios y ha tenido el privilegio de llevar a cabo más de 300 series evangelísticas en los últimos 15 años en todos los continentes. Costa, has served as a pastor, departmental director, and administrator since 1980 in South America and North America. A native of Uruguay, he received his higher education in Argentina and the United States. He is the Speaker-Director of the Spanish telecast of It Is Written, which is broadcast via satellite, cable and local channels in more than 11,000 stations, reaching 138 countries. Robert is passionate about sharing the good news of God's Word, and has had the privilege of conducting more than 300 evangelistic series in the last 15 years on every continent. He and his wife Nancy reside in Maryland, USA, where they both serve God, she as an executive assistant for Adventist World Radio, and he as Ministerial Associate of the General Conference. Robert is responsible for coordinating Evangelism and Church Growth for the global Seventh-day Adventist Church.Youth Rally – Stacey DePluzer, Associate Youth Director, Summer Camp andChildren's Ministries, Illinois Conference Stacey DePluzer is an Associate Youth Director for the Illinois Conference, overseeing Summer Camp and Children's Ministries. Her role includes directing Camp Akita, where she passionately ministers to young people, helping them grow in their understanding of God. Stacey's dedication, leadership, and unwavering faith make her a trusted mentor, focused on fostering strong faith foundations and lifelong friendships among youth within the Seventh-day Adventist community. Children’s Program (Ages 5-12) – John Henri, Nature and Science Expert John Henri Rorabeck, based in Ellicott City, MD, is a nature and science communicator. With over 10 years of experience, he has been actively involved in Adventist youth ministry, including local church ministry, Pathfinders, and summer camps. Since childhood, John Henri has been fascinated by the natural world and believes that our treatment of creation reflects our view of the Creator. When he's not educating children about science, he enjoys hiking, birding, and playing board games with his wife, Melody. Key Details for Event Preparation Limited Parking and Carpooling Encouraged: Please note that parking is limited, so we encourage you to carpool. Bring Your Lunch and Enjoy Picnic Areas: Don't forget to bring your lunch! There will be designated areas for picnicking. Children’s Program Information: Our program is available for children aged 5-12 only. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 5, so we kindly ask that they do not stay during the program. Adult supervision is required for sign-in and sign-out.
