<H2 CLASS="MsoNormal">ABOUT THE ARTIST:</H2>
Alan Maskell returns to the Common Grounds with friend and bassist Ted Fordney.  Joining Alan will be Wendy Kaneko, an engaging singer who performs regularly at Common Ground. And as one might expect, a few friends may be popping in add to the enjoyment.
Alan is an acoustic Singer/Songwriter originally from Bath in the South West of England.  Now living in Venice Florida, Alan performs regularly at The Common Grounds playing a broad range of music from acoustic classic rock covers to his own heartfelt and often energetic compositions. 
Before coming to the U.S., Alan played for many years in an Oxfordshire Pop/Rock band called Ulterior Motives, where he released two original CD's; "Rooks" in 2001 and "Simple Schemes" in 2006. While continuing to perform with Ulterior Motives, Alan also released 3 solo acoustic CD's, "Ghost" in 2010, "The Lake" in 2012, and "Winter" ,an EP, in 2014. He was also a regular performer of acoustic shows in Bath, Bristol, and surrounding towns.
Alan's song subjects cover a wide range of topics from global politics to travelogues, to personal relationships and personal loss.
