Airbrush 101   goes over all the basic things you need to know to get started in airbrushing where equipment &amp; paint will be provided.

This will be a hybrid class either face to face or virtual. We will be airbrushing with Golden Paints. I can provide the paints and surfaces and some airbrush equipment for face to face or you can bring your own if you have the equipment. If you are doing virtual, you will have to provide your own airbrush and compressor but I can get you the paints and surfaces before the class starts. This is a beginning course to help you get familiar and learn your way around the airbrush. We will go over all the mechanisms of an airbrush and compressor, proper holding and also learn how to chose the right air pressure on your compressor for different approaches and applications. After going over the basics of airbrushing we will begin to make a composition together and try a variety of techniques, make our own stencils and try some experiments. I will teach you how to trouble shoot when your airbrush is not working correctly and we also use a variety of materials to make some interesting patterns . After this class you will have a better understanding of airbrushing and learn ways to utilize it in your artwork. We use materials like Grafix: duralar, frisket film, opaque white plastic.
