Overview

This course is based on U.S. Government standards for AI Literacy.

AI skills are becoming critical for the future workforce because they redefine the benchmark for professional excellence. AI is not meant to replace professionals, but to elevate them by handling operational tasks (the “muscle”), allowing humans to focus on exceptional, high-value strategic contributions (the “brain”). The core skill shift is moving from merely performing tasks to effectively directing and managing AI. Professionals must develop core AI literacy and judgement to recognize AI failures like hallucinations or bias, as the individual remains fully accountable for all submitted outputs. Ultimately, those who learn to use AI as a tool, rather than ignore it, are more likely to achieve career growth and enhanced productivity.
