<P CLASS="MsoNormal">Connie Sheng is the founding managing partner of Nautilus Venture Partners, a Silicon Valley venture capital fund focusing on investments in the areas of AI, Big data, Smart Machines and IOT. Connie currently sits on the board of Tetravue, Insyte, Drivescale and a few other companies. Nautilus Venture Partners has also invested in Maluumba ( acquired by MSFT), an AI/NLP platform technology company, JingChi, a leading autonomous driving technology company, Voke (acquired by Intel) and many others leading technology companies. Previously, Connie was the managing director of Global Investments at Foxconn since 2007 and involved in many investments including a few high profile ones like Invensense (INVN), Gopro (GRPO), Aptina (by On-Semi), and so on. Connie was a co-founder/SVP of Blootech Inc, a wireless technology startup company. Connie started her high technology career at HP and worked in various leading roles in R&D, marketing and sales management for over 7 years.</P>

The Hawkeye project solves this pain point. We use crowdsourcing to help self-driving companies to collect and train “accidents”. Accidents are universal, and a lot of information from extreme situations on Chinese roads can also be used by American self-driving car companies. The cost of collecting this information in China is lower than that of the United States. When G-sensor is triggered, the video of the moment and 10s before the moment will be automatically saved. In addition, most dash cams have the “snapshot” function. The driver can press the remote control button to capture that instant photo and the 10s video before the snapshot will be automatically saved too. These videos are saved to a separate “Event File” folder. The driver will share his “Event File” to our community and get token as rewards.
