AI for Cybersecurity Professionals Online Course

Course Abstract
In an era where cyber threats are increasingly sophisticated, the need for advanced defense mechanisms is paramount. This intensive course runs Tuesday and Thursday for 3-weeks (6 sessions) and is designed for working professionals in the cybersecurity field, aiming to equip them with the knowledge and skills to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) in combating cyber threats. The course provides a comprehensive overview of AI technologies, focusing on their application in cybersecurity. Participants will gain insights into the latest AI tools and techniques used for threat detection, risk management, and response automation. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical exercises, the course prepares professionals to effectively integrate AI into their cybersecurity strategies.
Course Schedule
The course will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm - 2pm Central time for three weeks over Zoom. Students will have access to recordings and slides and have access to the instructor and lab environment until July 4, 2024.
Course Pre-requisites
- Basic scripting (bash or python)
- Basic familiarity with AI
- At least a mid-level cybersecurity or technology professional
