William Powers (Harvard ’83) has been writing and thinking about the implications of technology on our lives and how to balance the good that comes from innovation against its unintended consequences. Join us as we discuss the tension between ethics and AI and the dichotomy of what is good for business vs. what is simply just good. William Powers is the author of Hamlet’s Blackberry: A practical Philosophy for Building a Good Life in the Digital Age, as well as a regular contributor to the Washington Post, The Atlantic, and the New York Times, and researcher at MIT Media Lab .
