Kick off our 30th reunion weekend with a nostalgic trip down memory lane at Carrier Park, the iconic riverside gathering spot!

Join us for the AHS Cougar Family Picnic, a fun-filled Friday event from 4-6 PM on June 21. Open to AHS alumni from the classes of '92 through '96, this family-friendly affair promises laughter, games, and shared memories against the scenic backdrop of the French Broad River.

Bring your favorite picnic dish, lawn games, and memories to share.

Who is invited to the Cougar Family Picnic?

All Asheville High School alumni from the classes of 1992 to 1996 and their families are warmly invited to join us for an afternoon of fun and fellowship!

What does the $5 fee cover?

Your contribution goes toward the rental of the Carrier Park shelter, ensuring we have a designated spot to enjoy our time together. It also helps us keep track of attendance.

Will there be food provided at the event?

The picnic is a bring-your-own-food event. Feel free to coordinate with fellow classmates for a shared meal if you fancy a potluck-style experience. The committee encourages this community spirit, though we won't be able to coordinate it.

What happens if it rains?

Our event is set to happen come rain or come shine! The picnic shelter provides some protection from the elements. However, if Asheville City Parks determines weather conditions to be unsafe, we will inform all ticket holders of the cancellation via email.

Can I get a refund if I can't make it?

The reunion committee generally does not issue refunds, as our events have pre-planned expenses. However, each refund request will be considered on a case-by-case basis, reflecting our commitment to fairness and community spirit.
