Immerse yourself in the gorgeous waters of Ahjumawi Lava Springs State Park’s Big Lake. This park is situated in an ancient lava flow and features incredible vistas of Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta. Bring your binoculars and view the bird species that visit the Lake’s crystal clear spring water, and learn about the region’s unique history and geology. After your paddle, enjoy lunch while viewing the incredible scenery.

Please note a day-use pass to the park will be required for entry. Day use passes will be available for purchase at the park entry kiosk or are available to purchase online.
