This workshop will provide information about two programs that seek to assist and educate farmers about Safety and Health: NC AgrAbility Partnership and NC Agromedicine Institute programs and how to access services. The workshop “Preventing Injuries in the Agricultural Workplace” will provide information about exposures that can lead to deteriorating health over time and that can be preventable by learning about body mechanics, ergonomic concepts, proper tool selection, and modification of the environment and farming practices.
