Groundwork Atlanta works strategically and collaboratively to advance environmental projects that improve communities and quality of life in the City of Atlanta. Our primary focus is converting vacant and underutilized land to productive use, such as for urban agriculture, greenspace, and sustainable development.

AgLanta Eats, the hyper-local food festival now in its fourth year returns to the Atlanta Botanical Garden on Monday, July 15! The festival will feature a variety of tastings prepared by top, local chefs utilizing the freshest ingredients from <A HREF="http://www.aglanta.org" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">AgLanta</A> growers and metro Atlanta farms. Attendees will have access to the Atlanta Botanical Garden while enjoying farm fresh food, a selection of beverages, live music, garden tours, a silent auction, and more. This event is open to all ages!

Proceeds from the evening benefit the AgLanta "Grows-A-Lot" program, in association with <A HREF="http://www.groundworkatlanta.org" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Groundwork Atlanta</A> and the <A HREF="https://www.atlantaga.gov/government/mayor-s-office/executive-offices/office-of-resilience/about-the-office-of-sustainability" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Atlanta Mayor's Office of Resilience</A>, which supports the conversion of vacant and underutilized parcels in low-food access areas within the City of Atlanta to productive urban farms and gardens. In 2018, the AgLanta "Grows-A-Lot" team made eight (8) sites available to local growers, including five (5) community gardens and three (3) farm sites. Join us in celebrating the rich culture and agricultural traditions of our city at AgLanta Eats, and help fund the continued growth of Atlanta's urban food system!
