About this event

This is a montly event held by Agitsi to gather Glass Artists for a fun evening.

Each month has it's own theme with activities. Below is a description of activities that may be included.

Themes: Used to set the mood of the entire event. Example " Kiss My Glass" you will be asked to make hearts or lips out of the mystery box of supplies for Make it or Break it.

Glass Trivia: A Game to test your glass knowledge, prizes to the winner

Glingo: A Bingo meets Glass for entertainment

Group Projects: We may all join in to experience something new, such as glass painting,fusing, mosaic and more.

Glass Exchange: Bring a Wrapped 12x12 sheet of glass and we will hold an exchange. Very fun activity. We do this at every Agitsi Glass Exchange Event

Make it or Break it: Matching the Theme each person will get a mystery box of glass and supplies and create thier own masterpiece at event. You do not need to bring anything but welcome to bring your own glass cutter, please make sure your cutter has your name on it.

Very Fun and Creative Way to get out of your comfort zone and be around othere's who share the same love for glass. This is not a teaching class, Beginners are welcome. You will have to be experienced or taken a class befor to participate in "Make it or Break it" activity. You do not have to participate in every activity. Snack and Drinks welcome, we keep this to a15 people limit. Agitsi provides water, hot tea, coffee and assortent of snacks. Ages 13 and Up.

 Stained Glass Classes with Agitsi

At Agitsi Stained Glass, llc you will learn the art of stained glass in a beginner friendly atmosphere. Our unique glass studio gives you an individual creation station that has all tools and equipment you will need to learn. Here's what you will learn.

  1. The Glass itself. Choose your glass for your project. learn the different types of glass and texture of how stained-glass sheets are made.
  2. Pattern Basics. How to trace a pattern onto glass. The importance of lead or foil sheers.
  3. Glass score/cutting. Learn how to use a glass cutter and tools to start your masterpiece.
  4. The Grinder. Every station is equipped with a glass grinder. Find out how and why it is used.
  5. Copper Foil or Lead method? Learn how to choose, why and skilled ways to apply these methods to stained glass.
  6. Soldering. If you can use a glue gun, you can solder. We will teach you.
  7. Classes are set up to be beginner friendly and fun. We have a lot to teach but you will be surprised how fast the time flies when you're having fun. Make and Take classes are created to allow enough time for you to complete your project and take it home with you.
