Join us for the Age-Friendly Summit 2023!

The 2023 Age-Friendly Lancaster Summit will present a showcase of age-friendly housing solutions that are supported and promoted by our city’s new Comprehensive Plan!Registration begins at 8:30 am and the summit begins at 9:00 amIn addition to providing the annual update on our Age-Friendly Action Plan projects, the Summit will highlight a variety of housing options that meet older adults’ needs, affordability, and preferences that range from aging-in-place to a luxury retirement community. Plenary and breakout sessions will feature age-friendly housing solutions that are, or could be, part of our community. These include housing repair programs, accessory dwelling units, shared housing, intergenerational living, LGBTQ+ housing initiative, and missing middle housing. Local providers of retirement housing will share the goals, services and parameters of their current and planned communities in Lancaster. Lunch will be provided.By bringing together CBOs, government leaders, businesses, and residents, the Summit offers a cross- sectional platform to learn from one another and collaboratively create actionable takeaways that participants can apply within their circles of influence.
